After the work has been taken off the frame, the warp ends should be knotted together in twos and then in twos again, as shown in Figure 5. When sewing the strip onto the base, these ends are folded under before sewing down.

There is still another method of loom beading which is done with a heddle. This is more difficult insofar as the setup is concerned, and only one thread goes through the bead while there are double-warp threads between the beads. Figure 6 shows how the beads are fastened or woven in, and anyone familiar with a regular weaving loom can easily see how it is done. This method is seldom used as there is only one thread through each bead. The type of loom required also is cumbersome.
